A video of a fatal accident involving Ksenia Sobchak appeared on the network

The record shows that Mercedes, in which Sobchak was a passenger, went to overtake the bus in an oncoming lane through a solid marking line, but did not finish the maneuver, crashed into an oncoming Volkswagen car and hit the bus.

The accident occurred on the night of October 9-10. As a result of a head-on collision, 35-year-old Yekaterina Tarasova died. The victim is survived by a seven-year-old daughter. Two more people (the driver and another Volkswagen passenger) were injured and were hospitalized.

"Mercedes driver admitted his guilt, he was sent to house arrest. Sobchak is involved in the case as a witness”, - the statement reads.

A criminal case was initiated against the driver under the article on traffic violations that resulted in the death of a person.

Judging by the video taken inside the bus, at the moment of impact, the bus touched on a tangent. As a result of the collision, the glass shattered in the bus and the handrail flew off. None of the passengers on the bus was injured.

After the incident, Ksenia Sobchak got into a taxi and drove to the airport. She later promised to help all victims of the accident.

The day before, Ksenia Sobchak was interrogated as a witness in the case of a fatal road accident. As Sobchak said on her Telegram page, the interrogation lasted more than three hours, and the questions asked were irrelevant.
