The Court of Cassation upheld the sentence to the actor Yefremov, who arranged a fatal accident

“The cassation complaints were denied”, - the judicial board announced the decision.

We will remind, on September 8 last year, a court in Moscow found Yefremov guilty of violating traffic rules, which led to the death of a person. The actor was sentenced to eight years in prison with a three-year disqualification. Later, the Moscow City Court reduced the sentence by six months.

An accident involving Yefremov occurred on July 8 of the same year on the Garden Ring in Moscow. The examination showed that the actor was drunk when he got behind the wheel. He lost control and flew into the oncoming lane, as a result of which he collided with another car, the driver of which was killed in the hospital.

Now Yefremov is in a colony in the Belgorod region.
