The department clarified that the commander of the aircraft made a decision to urgently return the aircraft to the airport after the sensor for the failure of the legal engine was triggered. We managed to land safely.
Of the 154 passengers on board - including one child - no one was injured.
Investigators arrived at the airport to inspect the scene. The crew gave the investigation team an explanation of the incident. After the inspection, a procedural decision will be made.
It's worth reminding that a similar incident happened on March 13. There, an S7 airline liner, also flying from Novosibirsk, made an emergency landing in Tyumen due to engine failure.
