Crimean residents report new explosions near military airfield

Residents of the urban-type settlement of Gvardeiskoye near Simferopol report several new explosions at a military facility near the city. Clouds of thick black smoke rose from the air base.
Kommersant, citing a source, reports that the military is checking the version of an attack on an ammunition depot from drones. Crimean authorities have not yet commented on the new explosions.
Recall that on the morning of August 16, there were explosions at an ammunition depot in the Dzhansky district. A fire broke out at a transformer substation. Residents of a nearby village were evacuated. Two casualties are reported. A cordon zone was established at the site of the emergency at a distance of five kilometers.
