Four people died in a fire in a drug treatment clinic in Krasnoyarsk

- As part of the investigation of a criminal case into the death of four patients of a private narcological clinic as a result of a fire on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of two or more persons by negligence), the 45-year-old director of the Clean City clinic has been detained, according to the main investigation department of the ICR in the Krasnoyarsk region.

16 people were saved. Investigators clarify that some patients were treated anonymously. To establish the identity of the victims, it is necessary to conduct a genomic examination, since the bodies were too badly burned.

The investigation ordered biological, fire-technical and other examinations. Interrogation of the management and staff of the clinic, witnesses. All documentation that the investigation may need has been withdrawn.

Let us recall that the fire on the first basement floor of a residential building on Mira Avenue in Krasnoyarsk occurred at night, at 1:19 Moscow time, firefighters extinguished the fire. The fire was in an office with an area of 10 square meters.
