The incident occurred in the village of Azarovka, Starodubsky municipal district, said the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.

"One of the victims, unfortunately, died from his wounds", - the governor wrote on his Telegram channel.

The second victim was taken to the hospital. Doctors help him.

The incident happened the day before. Two residents were driving a car when they came across a mine. They got hurt.

On Monday, November 14, Russian air defense systems shot down two missiles over the Belgorod region. In addition, the authorities reported the arrival of mines on the territory of the Belgorod village of Borki from the neighboring state.
