A helicopter with Russian Guard soldiers landed hard near St. Petersburg (video)

In the Gatchina region (Leningrad region), a Mi-8 helicopter belonging to the Russian Guard fell. Eyewitnesses of the incident were residents of the cottage settlement "Gorki-Land", who filmed what was happening on a mobile phone. The helicopter lost control, spun and crashed in the forest.

According to the press service of the northwestern department of the National Guard, there was a hard landing, the crew survived.

“In the Leningrad Region, while performing a training flight, a Mi-8 helicopter of the aviation squadron of the North-Western District of the Russian Guard made a hard landing, the crew is alive, there are no casualties or damage on the ground”, - the Russian Guard reported.

The incident is under investigation.
