The incident took place around ten o'clock in the morning on Monday, February 21, according to the local news agency RostovGazeta . The projectile hit the border checkpoint, located 150 meters from the Russian-Ukrainian border, the department noted.

As a result of the incident, no one was injured. Now sappers are working at the scene.

It's worth reminding that in the Donbass since February 17, active hostilities have been underway. The parties accuse each other of violating the ceasefire, ignoring the Minsk agreements and using weapons, the use of which was prohibited by these agreements.

Old people, women and children from Donbass are evacuated to Russia. To date, about 61,000 residents have been evacuated. In total, it is planned to evacuate about 700 thousand people. The men were called to serve. They were banned from leaving the republics.
