Two workers died because of the electric shock under the power lines in the Leningrad region

The tragedy took place in the industrial zone of the Bugry village. As reported by Interfax, referring to an informed source, the bodies were found under the high-voltage wires.

PJSC Lenenergo representative told the agency that the victims had nothing to do with the company. Both of them tried to pass under the 10kV line of metal scaffolding. The organization created a commission to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

In the meantime, the department of the ICR for the region opened a criminal case on violation of safety rules during construction work. The ministry said that two workers were killed, another was injured and hospitalized.
