A fire broke out in the Krasnoyarsk rehabilitation center. There are victims

The fire started in the evening in a three-story private residential building, which houses the center of the Good Initiative charitable foundation. At the time of the arrival of the fire brigade, the entire building was engulfed in fire. Nine of those in the rehabilitation center managed to evacuate on their own.

They were able to liquidate the fire at 3 am local time (23:00 Moscow time). As reported in the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region, three people were injured, one was killed.

It is specified that the 60-year-old patient died from poisoning by combustion products. The survivors were able to get out by breaking the window. The preliminary cause of fire is called a short circuit in the electrical wiring. Other versions of the fire are also considered. The location of the owner of the center is established.

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under the article on the provision of services that did not meet safety requirements, which inadvertently resulted in the death of a person.

The prosecutor's office has begun an investigation into the incident.
