15 people became victims of shooting in Izhevsk school

The incident at school number 88 in the city of Izhevsk in Udmurtia occurred on the morning of September 26.

An armed man dressed in all black broke into the educational institution. He shot the guards, children and teachers, and then closed himself in one of the classes and committed suicide.

Near the body of the shooter, they found weapons and cartridges painted with red inscriptions “hatred”.

Subsequently, the attacker was identified. It turned out to be a 34-year-old former pupil of this educational institution, who was registered in a mental dispensary.

In the Kremlin, what happened at the school was regarded as a terrorist attack.

According to the local publication Udm-info , there is a hotline for parents of students of school No. 88 in Izhevsk. Security has been stepped up at neighboring schools.

On the fact of the massacre, a criminal case was opened in the Investigative Committee, a series of examinations were appointed, including on the sanity of the shooter.

The surviving wounded will be sent to Moscow for treatment .

Three days of mourning has been declared for the dead.
