70 people evacuated from the burning market in Vladivostok

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Primorsky Territory, the fire occupied most of the one-story Nekrasovsky market. Firefighters were able to liquidate the fire at 11:28 local time (4:28 Moscow time). The city administration clarified that the workers of the market and neighboring pavilions were evacuated.

The fire was assigned the second rank of danger. The head of the city, Konstantin Shestakov, arrived at the scene.

The traffic police blocked the entrances to the market, police officers do not let anyone inside, where special firefighters work. Since the road to the market is closed, traffic jams have formed in the city. There is a smell of burning and smoke in the air.

As Vostok Media clarifies, the market presumably belongs to the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the region from the “Russian Party of Pensioners and Social Justice” Vyacheslav Baydelyuk.
