According to the Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred on the night of January 25.

According to the telegram channel Life Shot, while patrolling the streets of the city, traffic police inspectors Vladimir Larin and Igor Savintsev noticed a car with an alarm on near the bridge. They stopped to find out what had happened.

“The driver said that he had just seen someone jump from the bridge into the water. Then the police noticed a girl who could hardly hold onto the edge of the ice”, - the message says.

The girl tried to get out of the water, but nothing worked for her. Then the police rushed to help the drowning woman. They quickly took out a towing rope and with its help pulled the drowning woman to the shore.

“Having pulled her out of the icy water, the policeman realized that the victim, a 27-year-old local resident, could not move on her own. The inspectors picked her up, carried her to the patrol car to keep her warm, and called the ambulance. Now the girl's health is not threatened”, - the police said.

The police are currently investigating the incident. The Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Belomorsk region reported that the leadership wants to encourage Vladimir Larin and Igor Savintsev for saving the girl.
