Explosion and fire occurred in a residential building in northeast of Moscow

According to eyewitnesses, there was open burning from the windows. "According to the source, five people were rescued, four people were injured", - the TASS agency reports. Traffic on the Prokhodchikov street is difficult. According to other sources, rescuers brought six people to a safe place, one of them is in serious condition.

According to the Interfax news agency, it was an air-gas mixture that could detonate in the house. The RIA Novosti news agency is also reporting about a "gas pop". “There was a blast wave, I thought glass would fly into me. This is a shock”, - one of the witnesses on social networks wrote. Moreover, according to eyewitnesses, at first the fire started, and only then there was an explosion.

"According to the preliminary data, the cause of the explosion could be a gas leak or a disruption in the operation of gas equipment", - the TASS interviewee said.

On June 5, an explosion in which one person died and one was injured occurred in a high-rise building already in the south of Moscow. Locals immediately smelled the gunpowder, and the broken window frames were detected near the house. As it turned out, the cause of the explosion was the experiments of residents of one of the apartments with pyrotechnics.
