For the sake of the future: opposition created the Belarusian Democratic Forum

As Tsepkalo said in his Telegram channel, the first discussion has already been launched on the platform. It concerns public administration - users are invited to familiarize themselves with the materials published on this topic, the positions of experts, and also express their opinions. In the future, it is planned to prepare reports on each topic discussed.

In addition, in the near future Tsepkalo wants to organize round tables on the most popular topics from the forum. The most active participants in the discussions will be invited to them.

“By this we plan to start preparing society for our New Belarus, where open expression of position and its upholding will be welcomed, once again showing that in the modern world there is no longer a place for outdated regimes that do not take into account the opinion of society. This is our response to the illegitimate and shameful All-Belarusian Assembly”, - Tsepkalo said.

He believes that the forum will become one of the steps to create a “democratic People's Belarus”.

Let us note that the VI All-Belarusian People's Assembly will be held on February 11-12. Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, against the backdrop of protests, announced the need to amend the Constitution, within the framework of which he is ready to delegate some of the powers to other branches of government. The House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus last fall began to accept proposals on amendments to the country's Constitution. However, the opposition refuses to discuss the amendments, insisting on new presidential elections.
