Volodin arranged a new poll on social networks: this time about the reasons for the collapse of the USSR

State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin again, as a few days ago, decided to ask the opinion of the Russians. This time, by what they think about the collapse of the USSR, which happened just 30 years ago, his subscribers in social networks.

Recall that before that, the speaker published a post about the authorities' intention to introduce mandatory QR codes, which instantly became super popular: more than 700 thousand citizens of the country expressed their opinions under it, he decided to ask what his audience thinks about the reasons for the collapse of the USSR.

Volodin's audience answered this question quite predictably: the overwhelming majority believe that the USSR collapsed due to the "betrayal of the party elites" and some kind of "foreign interference." But the elementary idea that the cause of the catastrophe was a terrible economic situation, which caused a total deficit of everything, as well as the complete lack of alternatives to power, is inaccessible to Volodin's audience. But of course, the results of the poll amused the speaker's pride, and indeed the entire ruling elite of the country.
