Unidentified persons in Minsk on the morning of September 7 kidnapped a member of the coordination council of the opposition Maria Kolesnikova and took her away in an unknown direction.

As tut.by reports, citing an eyewitness, Kolesnikova was seized at the building of the National Art Museum in Minsk and put into a minibus. Until now, none of the acquaintances can contact Kolesnikova. In addition to Kolesnikova, everyone was lost with her associates Ivan Kravtsov and Anton Rodnenkov.

According to RIA Novosti, Kolesnikova was detained. However, the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that " they have no information about the detention of Kolesnikova and her associates".

According to eyewitnesses, Kolesnikova was seized by people in civilian clothes and in masks. They pushed her into a Sobol minibus with the sign "Communication".

38-year-old Maria Koesnikova, a graduate of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, entered public politics as head of the headquarters of presidential candidate Viktor Babariko. After Babariko's arrest, she became one of the leaders of the Kolesnikova-Tikhanovskaya-Tsepkalo women's political alliance. Then Kolesnikova joined the Coordination Council of the Belarusian opposition.

Mass protests against Lukashenko's regime were held in Minsk yesterday. Over 100 thousand people took part in them. Mass demonstrations of citizens have not stopped in the country since the end of the controversial presidential elections on August 9, in which the CEC awarded long-term president of the country Alexander Lukashenko the victory.

Citizens, confident of numerous falsifications, demand Lukashenko's resignation and an honest vote. Street protests in the country are accompanied by mass arrests and atrocities by the security forces. People in the streets are detained by people in masks and taken away in an unknown direction, very often - in cars without identification marks and numbers.
