Mass protests against Lukashenko's regime were held in Minsk yesterday. Over 100 thousand people took part in them. Mass demonstrations of citizens have not stopped in the country since the end of the controversial presidential elections on August 9, in which the CEC awarded long-term president of the country Alexander Lukashenko the victory.
Citizens, confident of numerous falsifications, demand Lukashenko's resignation and an honest vote. Street protests in the country are accompanied by mass arrests and atrocities by the security forces. People in the streets are detained by people in masks and taken away in an unknown direction, very often - in cars without identification marks and numbers.
