Japan sent military equipment to Ukraine through Poland

According to the Japanese TV channel, bulletproof vests, helmets, cameras, hygiene products, dry rations, self-defense force generators were loaded onto a Boeing KC-767 tanker transport aircraft, which will have to deliver them to one of the airports in Poland, from where aid will be sent to Ukraine.

At the end of February, Kiev notified Japanese Defense Minister Nobuko Kishi in writing that it needed arms supplies, including ammunition, anti-tank missiles, and surface-to-air missiles. However, Tokyo considered that sending weapons and ammunition to Ukraine would violate the principles associated with the supply of weapons abroad. As a result, Japan decided to transfer humanitarian aid and equipment to Kiev.

On March 8, the conflict between Ramzan Kadyrov and the Land of the Rising Sun continued. The head of the Chechen Republic announced the closure of entry into the region to representatives of the Japanese authorities. This is how Kadyrov reacted to Tokyo imposing sanctions against him. He noted that the Japanese authorities banned him from financial activities in the country, and also froze his assets, "which he never had in Japan". The leader of Chechnya stressed that he would allow the Japanese authorities to enter the territory of the republic solely to visit "psychiatric hospitals in the villages of Braguny and Samashki".
