According to RBC, referring to its sources close to the government, the Siberian Federal District will be supervised by Victoria Abramchenko, the North-Western Federal District - Tatyana Golikova, the Central Federal District - Dmitry Grigorenko, Yuri Trutnev will remain the curator in the Far East, Yuri Borisov will be the curator of the Ural Federal District, Alexander Novak was appointed to oversee the North Caucasus, and Dmitry Chernyshenko will take over the Volga Federal District.
It's worth to note that despite the new "territorial affiliation", all curators will remain in Moscow.
Earlier, we will remind, the appointment of deputy prime ministers as curators of federal districts was announced by the head of state Vladimir Putin.
As for the essence of this event, the curators, as a rule, are persons with vague powers and vague responsibility. Therefore, it all looks like another bureaucratic leapfrog, nothing more.
