Former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, who prepared a compromising dossier on former US President Donald Trump, revealed details about Trump's alleged connections with the Kremlin.

The interview with the British intelligence officer was published by ABC News.

According to Dozhd *, this is Steele's first interview since the dossier was published in January 2017.

As follows from Steele's dossier, Russian intelligence has dirt on Trump, including of a sexual nature. Allegedly, the Russian special services managed to film Trump's entertainment with prostitutes in a Moscow hotel in 2013. The British intelligence officer calls his dossier "reliable", but points out that some of the statements "will never be proven".

Steele is convinced that a video of Trump's entertainment with prostitutes does exist, but it is hidden in anticipation of the right moment. According to Steele, during Trump's presidency, Russia has already managed to get enough benefits, skillfully manipulating the accumulated compromising evidence.

“Putin would not have rushed to release the record. He would put her under a very serious lock and make sure that she never saw the light without his knowledge”, - said Steele.

In response to Steele's statements about Russian incriminating evidence against the American ex-President, Trump in July 2020, while still the head of state, called Steele a "liar", and the facts set out in the dossier were "fake news." He offered to extradite the British spy, bring him to trial in the United States and put him in prison. However, Trump failed to get Steele punished.

Some analysts believe that in drawing up the dossier, Steele may have become a victim of deliberate disinformation on the part of the Russian special services. Steele believes that such a possibility is not excluded, but the chance of this is small. He is convinced that his dossier on Trump is based on real facts, not fiction. An indirect argument in favor of Steele's correctness is that a dossier-based investigation by Special Prosecutor Mueller into Russian meddling in the US presidential election led to the indictment of 40 people from Trump's inner circle. Some of the accused pleaded guilty. However, it was not possible to prove Trump's involvement in the crimes.

According to journalists, one of Steele's sources when compiling the dossier on Trump was the former Deputy Mayor of Saratov Olga Galkina. However, Galkina herself refuted these statements. Another source, presumably, was an employee of Steele's company, a Russian analyst Igor Danchenko.
