Earlier it became known that according to the results of processing 100% of the protocols, the acting governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev (LDPR) is gaining 56.81% of the votes, the acting governor of the Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov - 78.79% of the votes, the acting head of the Penza region Oleg Melnichenko wins the elections with 72 , 38% of the votes.

The acting Acting Head of the Republic of Tyva Vladislav Khovalyg preliminarily gains 86.81% of the votes in the elections of the head of the region, the Acting Head of Mordovia Artem Zdunov gains over 78% of the votes. Elections to the State Duma of the VIII convocation were held in Russia from 17 to 19 September. For the first time, they were held in the format of a three-day voting. 3812 candidates from 14 political parties participated in the elections.

Simultaneously with the deputies of the State Duma , heads of regions were elected in nine subjects (in Mordovia, Tuva, Chechnya, Khabarovsk Territory, Belgorod, Penza, Tver, Tula, Ulyanovsk regions).

In another 39 regions, deputies of regional, territorial and republican legislative assemblies were elected. At the same time, in Dagestan, Karachay-Cherkessia and North Ossetia, heads of regions are not elected directly by citizens, but by deputies of the Legislative Assembly on the proposal of the president.
