The former head of the Chuvash Republic, Mikhail Ignatiev, filed an administrative claim with the Supreme Court of Russia to challenge the early termination of powers.

It is reported by RIA Novosti, referring to the database of the Supreme Court.

Note that the dismissed Ignatiev decided not only to challenge his resignation, but also to obtain the right to additional social guarantees. However, “an administrative statement of claim regarding the establishment of the fact of partial disability and the establishment of the right to additional social and other guarantees” was returned to him.

Earlier, a video appeared on the network in which the head of the republic forces an EMERCOM employee to jump to get the keys to a new fire engine. Later, the department called it a “friendly joke”, but the head of the Ministry of Emergencies, Yevgeny Zinichev, called Ignatiev’s behavior unacceptable.

After the scandal with the video, United Russia expelled Ignatiev from her ranks. The deputy head of the faction, Andrei Isaev, called for the resignation of the governor.

Later, Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Ignatiev from his post with the wording “in connection with the loss of confidence”.
