Medvedev called on the members of the "United Russia" to give their monthly salary to help the doctors

“I am turning today to all our deputies of the State Duma and members of the Federation Council, parliamentarians in the regions, to all members of the same party, who have the appropriate capabilities. And I urge you to send a monthly salary to pay membership dues, ”said Dmitry Medvedev.

The funds will be sent to the regions that, according to the Ministry of Health, need it most - Smolensk, Tambov, Tverskaya, Novgorod, Penza, Samara, Saratov and other areas.

Earlier, the Secretary of the General Council of the party, Andrei Turchak, announced a reduction in election costs and administrative expenses. The released funds have already been sent to help doctors and those in need. In particular, as part of the action #Thank you, Doctors purchased more than 200 cars for hospitals and several million medical masks, antiseptics and personal protective equipment.

In addition, the charity campaign “Help to study at home” is being actively implemented, in which students receive tablets for distance learning. The party has been implementing it together with the Ministry of Education and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives since April 13. Students in the regions were given over 50 thousand computers and tablets. Most of them were received by children from villages and villages.

As for individual party members, even before this appeal they donated their income to charity. For example, in the Vladimir region, local deputies collected more than five million rubles, which went to purchase 1,300 antiplague suits for infectious diseases hospitals. In Dagestan, deputies from United Russia handed over to a hospital a set of vital medicines, antiseptic and disinfecting drugs. In Tatarstan, membership fees collected by the local branch of the party are already being sent to the work of volunteer centers.

United Russia will continue this work as long as necessary. And to make it even more effective, it is important to use all the possibilities of the party, ”Dmitry Medvedev summed up.
