The court ruled illegal the Eye of God Telegram channel

Roskomnadzor previously ruled that the channel violates the rights of Russians by opening access to their personal data without their consent. Sergey Kalenik, an official representative of the Eyes of God, told TASS that the court had banned not this channel, but with the same name.

The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) filed a lawsuit against the founder of the bot, Evgeny Antipov, to ban the "Eyes of God" the day before. Lawyers channel salt lawsuit unreasonable.

In March 2021, Roskomnadzor demanded that the Telegram administration restrict the work of bots that disclose personal data of people. After that, the messenger blocked several services, including the "Eye of God". But he managed to make copies of the site, and the bot was restored to work in a week.
