According to REN-TV, a helicopter appeared over the territory of the Kremlin. The aircraft hovered slowly over the Bolshoi Kamenny Bridge.

“And then it began to descend not far from the walls near Red Square”, - the newspaper notes.

The reasons for the appearance of the helicopter at the walls of the Kremlin are not yet known. The territory in the center of Moscow, where government buildings and important state institutions are located, including the place of work of the President of the Russian Federation, is guarded by the FSO, and aircraft without special permission cannot fly in this place.

Users suggested that the reason for the appearance of the helicopter at the walls of the Kremlin could have been the FSO (Federal Guards Service) exercises or the need to provide emergency medical assistance to any of the inhabitants of the Kremlin.

The loudest landing of an aircraft near the Kremlin walls in the history of Moscow took place on May 28, 1987, when 18-year-old German pilot Matthias Rust, having flown more than a thousand kilometers without hindrance, landed on the Bolshoy Moskvoretsky Bridge in Moscow on the Day of the USSR Border Troops. Rust's landing at the walls of the Kremlin was the greatest border scandal. The pilot who flew on the Hamburg-Reykjavik-Helsinki-Moscow route was accused by a Soviet court of hooliganism and sentenced to four years in prison. However, already in 1988, Rust was released under an amnesty, and he was able to return to Germany. At home, he was deprived of his pilot's license.
