On September 1, the Day of Knowledge, security will be provided by more than 140,000 law enforcement officers and about 33,000 employees of a private security company, said Stanislav Kolesnik, head of the Department of Law Enforcement in the Residential Sector of the Main Directorate for Ensuring Public Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

He added that a reserve is provided in case of complications of the operational situation. Today, next to educational organizations there will be traffic police officers who control traffic.

During the press conference, Kolesnik also pointed out that in 97.2% of schools the situation with the physical training of security guards has improved, and in 82% - with the equipment of institutions with video surveillance. In his opinion, there is no need for such expenses for rural schools due to their small number of students.

According to the official representative of the Russian Guard, Valery Gribakin, more than 80% of schools in the country are provided with a departmental "panic button". About 82% of schools are connected to centralized security panels of the Russian Guard.

Recall that on the eve of the governor of the Bryansk region Alexander Bogomaz announced that for security reasons, the school year of 15 schools in the region will begin remotely. Before that, the same decision was made in the Kursk region. There, 13 out of 86 schools in the Belovsky, Glushkovsky, Korenevsky and Sudzhansky districts will switch to distance learning. a August 15 it was reported that from September 1 in the Belgorod region, schools in nine border regions and kindergartens within a radius of 5 km from the border will go to remote control.
