Migrants

In an interview with RBC, the vice mayor pointed out that currently less than 40 thousand people are employed on construction sites in the capital. The official noted that earlier labor migrants arrived, as a rule, from Tajikistan, and now - from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The average salary of a migrant in construction has increased from 30 thousand rubles to 50-60 thousand rubles. At the same time, Bochkarev specified, in China, when converted to rubles, builders receive 150 thousand, Finland - 240 thousand, in Great Britain - 250 thousand rubles. Moreover, there "no workers are brought from abroad".

In June, we will remind, the administration of the capital has already announced a shortage of labor at construction sites. According to Deputy Mayor Vladimir Yefimov, at that time there were 300 thousand fewer migrants than before the pandemic, which was due to restrictions on entry into the country.

At the beginning of the year , it was indicated that the number of foreigners in Russia had decreased by 21%.
