More than half of the citizens opposed the new lockdown

51% of Russians said they were against the introduction of another lockdown, since this measure would cause negative consequences for the economy. 28% of citizens are sure that there are simply no grounds for introducing total restrictions in their region.
Most of the participants in the Otkritie Bank survey, the results of which are cited by RIA Novosti, believe that the new lockduan will finally kill the domestic economy and reduce the already collapsed incomes of the population. Basically, the respondents from the Southern Federal District - 56%, the Moscow region and the Volga region - 54% spoke this way.
At the same time, every fifth respondent supported the measure. Thus, among Muscovites and residents of the Moscow Region, 28% of respondents “voted for the lockdown”, in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region - 32%.
