The Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in Moscow convicted Ksenia Sobchak (pictured) of illegal advertising of alcohol on the Internet.

In particular, the TV presenter was accused of violating Art. 14.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation - Violation of the legislation on advertising. The chosen punishment was a warning.

“The Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in Moscow decided to recognize an official - Self-employed entrepreneur Sobchak Ksenia Anatolyevna guilty of an offense... to impose a punishment in the form of a warning”, - the document of the OFAS in Moscow reads, which was read bythe RIA Novosti correspondent.

According to the decree, an advertisement for sparkling wine appeared on one of the Youtube channels, the distributor of which is Ksenia Anatolyevna Sobchak, an individual entrepreneur. According to advertising legislation, it is forbidden to advertise alcohol on the Internet. In addition, there should be a label reminiscent of the dangers of alcohol consumption. The measure of punishment was chosen taking into account the fact that the offense was committed for the first time.

Sobchak has the right to appeal the verdict in the arbitration court within 10 days after the delivery of the decision or a copy of it.
