The new “Besogon TV” author’s program of Nikita Mikhalkov episode entitled “Who has the state in his pocket?” was demonstrated on the channel "Russia 24" on May 1. however, its repetitions scheduled for May 2 and 3 were canceled by the leadership of All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK).

A famous Russian film-director Nikita Mikhalkov said about this in an appeal to his viewers at the program’s channel on YouTube. According to him, the reason of refusing to repeat his new program is censorship. “It's a pure censorship,” - stated Mikhalkov.

He explained in his appeal that he never wanted to offend anyone in numerous episodes of his program, where many politicians and high-ranking officials took part, although "yes, there were problems, but we successfully solved them and the programs went out".

“What happened now, this is a question that really bothered me,” Mikhalkov noted, adding that the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company never paid a dime to create a program that was done entirely at the expense of the author in order to maintain independence.

He emphasized that the goal of his program was “forcing the truth by non-violent methods” and said that “people of any rank and level should be responsible for their words that are spoken publicly, as well as for what they write so that others can read it”.

And if, according to Mikhalkov, "the broadcast is removed from the air, then it means there are inviolable ones and this truth is not needed".

The director noted that he doesn’t know, “will we continue this and where, if we will,” but promised the viewers that he would still ask sharp questions. "Try to find the answers why this program caused such hysterical fear and reaction," he said in an appeal to the audience.

In this issue of the program, Mikhalkov spoke about the intention of the founder of Microsoft, who became a philanthropist, Bill Gates, to chip all the people on Earth, as well as about his followers in Russia represented by German Gref and other "digitalizers".

Mikhalkov's programs episodes were removed from the air already earlier, in 2015 and 2018.
