Achievements of Roskosmos: Gagarin's legendary phrase "Let's go!" became the voice of the elevators
The Ust-Katav Car-Building Plant (UKCBP), part of the United Rocket and Space Corporation, has completed certification of elevators of its production. New elevators will welcome passengers with the famous phrase “Let's go!” the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin.
Gagarin's voice announces "Let's go!" every time the elevator UKCBP begins descent or climb, and then the music starts, reports TASS.
In addition, the elevators are equipped with a mirror, a handrail, a multi-color display on which text and slide information with a speech informant can be broadcast.
According to representatives of the corporation, UKCBP intends to enter the production of 50 elevators per month by the end of this year.
Note that in the Roskosmos in recent years there has been a longing for the Soviet past. Recently, after the launch of Crew Dragon SpaceX, Ilona Mask, the head of the state corporation Dmitry Rogozin expressed his hopes for the modernization of the Gagarin launch. During the same missile flight, Mask Rogozin yearned for Stalin's time.
