Fisenko recalled that today there are over five thousand people in intensive care units who would be diagnosed with COVID-19.

As of September 2, 45 million citizens were vaccinated in Russia. The Rospotrebnadzor indicated that now in eight regions an increase in the number of cases of covid is recorded. They clarified that there were no requirements for teachers to wear masks.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that school teachers may no longer wear masks, since vaccination of school employees in the capital has already reached 80%. It's worth noting that on September 1, for the first time since August 18, St. Petersburg overtook Moscow in the number of cases of coronavirus infection registered per day.
