In conditions of the self-isolation Russians bought 60% less gasoline
Russian gas purchases in April fell by 60.16% in comparison with February.
This is stated in a study by Russian Standard Bank, the results of which are provided by RIA Novosti.
Analysts examined the occupancy rate of checks at a mobile bank and found out which products and goods the Russians bought most often during April.
- In the category of “services” - the permanent leader of gas stations, where the most popular product is gasoline. Purchases of the AI-92 and AI-95 in connection with the isolation regime in April fell by 9.73% compared to March and 60.16% compared to February, the study said.
We recall that previously a similar study was conducted by VTB Bank and the fiscal data operator “First OFD”. Experts estimate that after the introduction of a self-isolation regime between March 30 and April 19, "compared with the average in March, Russians reduced gasoline purchases by an average of 31%." At the same time, “AI-92 sales fell most - by 36%."
