76 construction workers of hydroelectric power station in the Kemsky district of Karelia are hospitalized. A positive coronavirus test was confirmed for 48 of them.

This was announced by the head of the regional Ministry of Health Mikhail Okhlopkov.

After infection was detected, the entire working group was isolated.

- 76 people were hospitalized in medical organizations of the republic. Among them, patients with a confirmed positive result of a PCR study for coronavirus - 48 people, - reported in the Ministry of Health of Karelia.

According to the head of the department, in addition to 48 people whose coronavirus is confirmed, ten with “conditionally positive” COVID-19, and another 18 people have symptoms of SARS. At 21:00 on June 3, 168 people were in Karelian observers.

- A total of 282 people are covered by anti-epidemic measures. 168 people are in observatories in Kem, Medvezhyegorsk, Kondopoga, Belomorsky, Segezha regions and in the city of Petrozavodsk. Another 18 people with a negative test result, but with symptoms of a respiratory infection, are under the supervision of physicians in the Belomorsky, Loukhsky and Medvezhyegorsk CRH, ”the Ministry of Health said, also informing that four more workers are being located.

Today the last stage of disinfection of the construction site of the Beloporozhsky hydroelectric power station begins. After that, the facility will be ready to accept a new shift shift, in which the results of the analysis for coronavirus will be negative.

Earlier it was reported that an outbreak of coronavirus infection occurred immediately in two Kolyma institutions. According to the head of the region, more than twenty employees fell ill, children's tests showed negative results.
