The Russians named the most annoying habits of their colleagues, both those with whom they work in the office and those with whom they interact remotely. The most annoying habit of the former turned out to be frequent smoke breaks, the latter - ignoring messages and calls.

The research was conducted by the recruiting portal Superjob.

The most annoying habit of office workers is the frequent smoke breaks. This annoying factor was voted for by 9% of Russians surveyed. Moreover, the frequent smoke breaks of their colleagues enrage women less than men. Only 6% of the fairer sex expressed irritation about this, while among the stronger sex, almost twice as many respondents are against this addiction, writes RBC.

Gossip and empty talk, as well as lack of culture and rudeness, took the second and third places. 7% more Russians noted this factor as negative. Moreover, women chose him more often than men.

Among other habits of colleagues that annoy other employees, respondents also named slowness, incompetence, and regular tardiness. 4% of the polled Russians voted for them. Least of all, the survey participants are annoyed in colleagues by hypocrisy, intrigue and irresponsibility, as well as attempts to shift their work onto another person. Only 2% of the survey participants voted for this.

Only 18% of surveyed Russians with strong nerves are not at all annoyed by the habits of their colleagues. Some of them say that they were just lucky to work in a good team.

Starting this year, during the spread of the coronavirus epidemic and massive lockdown across the country, remote work has also become relevant. 38% of Russians working remotely said that they were not annoyed by anything about their colleagues. The most annoying factors in the work of remote workers were called unanswered calls from colleagues, as well as not going to work meetings. This makes 3% and 7% of Russians nervous, respectively. Laziness and idleness of colleagues annoy 6% of survey participants. Independence, as well as calls after work, enrage 4% of Russians surveyed. The most unusual annoying factor was tea drinking while communicating with colleagues remotely.

Among other annoying factors, Russians working remotely named the incompetence of their colleagues, the stupidity that they write in public chats, as well as extraneous noises during airtime.

Earlier, the State Duma approved a bill on remote work. Now it will not be possible to fire for drunkenness at work, since it is difficult to prove it if a person works remotely. However, the reason for the dismissal now may be not getting in touch for two days.
