The Hydrometeorological Center warned of abnormal frosts

The scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center, Roman Vilfand, told RIA Novosti that abnormally cold weather is expected on December 4-8 in the Nizhny Novgorod and Kirov regions, as well as in Mordovia and Mari El. In Kalmykia, the temperature will deviate from the norm by 10-12 degrees.

The predicted weather in the north of the Volgograd region and the Volga coast was also named abnormal. There thermometers thermometers will drop below normal values by 10-15 degrees.

- In the Penza region below the climatic norm by 9-10 degrees, - added Roman Vilfand.

According to him, such deviations are quite dangerous and require training of utilities and doctors.

In the central part of the country, frosty weather will be established with a temperature of one or two degrees below normal. Abnormal cold weather will also be recorded in the south of Western Siberia, in the south and in the center of the Urals, in the middle and lower Volga regions, as well as in the Southern Federal District, where the temperature will drop by four to eight degrees compared to normal.
