Families of people killed in the explosion in Nizhnevartovsk are promised to pay 1 million rubles each

Payments to the families of the victims of the explosion will amount to 1 million rubles per family, according to the regional department of social development. Payment to victims will be calculated based on the severity.

Governor Natalya Komarova instructed the department to develop a draft resolution on support measures for the families of the dead and injured by 10 am on Monday, December 5. Decisions must be formulated "in view of the specific tragedy".

A gas explosion in a house in Nizhnevartovsk on Sunday evening killed six people and injured 15 others. This house is not supplied with gas, presumably, the depressurization of the gas cylinder used to install the stretch ceiling led to the incident.
