Earlier, the press service of the Ministry of Digital Development reported that on the portal of state services, a certificate of vaccination of Russians against the COVID-19 coronavirus will be formed not only in Russian, but also in English.

However, it still came out unsuitable for travel to most countries, since it is issued for an internal Russian passport.

The support service of the portal of state services informed the agency Interfax that so far, the vaccination certificate on the portal of state services is indeed issued only for use on the territory of Russia. In addition, since the vaccination of Russian citizens is carried out according to an internal passport, it is not surprising that the certificate itself is issued for a Russian passport.

According to the current regulations, after passing the first stage of vaccination, the medical organization must transfer the data of the passed to the Ministry of Health, from where the information is forwarded to the website of state services in the form of a letter and a message to the personal account of the vaccinated. After the second vaccination, a QR code of the certificate is provided with the ability to download it in PDF format. If necessary, it will be possible to present it even from a mobile device through the "Gosuslugi" (State Services) application in the form of a QR code.

"The time of appearance of the certificate depends on the speed of entering the data by the medical organization in which the vaccination was performed. It usually takes no more than a day after the final stage of vaccination", - the support service of the state services website said.

Earlier it was reported that in the countries of Europe, the possibility of traveling with so-called "covid passports" or with vaccination certificates certifying that the traveler was vaccinated against coronavirus is already being widely discussed. Russian vaccine "Sputnik V" can become one of the recognized in the EU, in Hungary and Slovakia, it is already being used, and the Greek authorities and Croatia stated that these countries are ready to take the Russian tourists to the vaccine "Companion V". But it is still unclear in what form a certificate of Russian vaccination should be presented in order for the border guard to treat it favorably. At the same time, less than two months are left before the start of the summer tourist season.

Greece, Spain, Malta, Italy and Bulgaria, which depend on tourism and do not want a repeat of the disastrous summer season of 2020, are actively advocating the introduction of covid passports. They plan to take an Israeli "green passport" as a sample for the document, the owners of which - those who have had coronavirus or who have been vaccinated against it - can visit gyms, theaters, and also fly abroad.

However, Ireland, France and Germany believe that the introduction of such passports is premature, as it will put people in an unequal position. For example, young people who are not at risk will receive the vaccine last and there is no guarantee that the vaccinated person is not a carrier of the coronavirus.
