According to the World Health Organization (WHO), between March 28 and April 3, the number of deaths in the world from COVID-19 decreased by 43%. There is also a 16% decrease in morbidity.

“The number of new cases of COVID-19 has been declining for the second week in a row, with a 16% decrease in the week from March 28 to April 3, 2022 compared to the previous week. The number of deaths also dropped sharply (-43%)”, - the WHO report says.
The organization noted that as of April 3, 489 million cases of infection and 6 million deaths had been detected in the world.
