The streaming service Netflix announced a temporary stoppage of work in Russia in connection with a special operation conducted by Moscow in Ukraine.

According to Variety magazine, referring to a statement from a company representative, the service will stop broadcasting two dozen Russian federal channels of the first and second multiplex, despite the requirements of the Russian legislation.

Roskomnadzor, we recall, brought Netflix, localized in the Russian Federation, into the register of audiovisual services with attendance of over 100,000 users per day.

On March 3, Netflix stopped work on Russian original projects. The shooting of the series “Zato” by Daria Zhuk, “Anna K” with Svetlana Khodchenkova in the title role, “Nothing Special” with Yuri Borisov were suspended.
