Strangers among their own: regions put under quarantine the passengers of domestic flights

Citizens were forbidden to leave the rooms of the private sanatorium, frequentflyers.ru writes , referring to the Facebook page of fishery owner Alexei Goryachev, who turned out to be one of three dozen detained passengers.

According to the publication, Goryachev was given a toothbrush, paste, shampoo, soap and dishwashing gel, he is provided with food. All passengers were tested for coronavirus. Those with negative results are promised to be released.

The author of the publications himself indicates that all the employees of the sanatorium are polite, unlike those who met him at the airport, where "they put a piece of iron in his nose and throat in full insanitary conditions and, like a prisoner of Auschwitz, assigned a number."

Note that the two-week quarantine in connection with the coronavirus for everyone who arrives in the region from Moscow and St. Petersburg is not excluded by the governor of the Chelyabinsk region Alexei Teksler.

- In Siberia, a number of cities made this decision. In general, this is a possible measure, but it should be synchronized with the neighboring regions, where there are airports, where our residents can fly. And to do it unilaterally, without talking to our colleagues, it seems premature, - quotes the head of the RIA Novosti region.

Texler noted that this is a possible measure, "which we are discussing."

Obligatory quarantine for arrivals from Moscow has already been introduced in the Irkutsk Region, the website of the regional Rospotrebnadzor says . Residents of the region can spend two quarantine weeks at home, visitors will have to self-isolate at the place of stay or at the observatory. In both cases, they will establish medical supervision.

Similar measures were also introduced in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Tomsk Region.
