On June 5, in Solnechnogorsk, the 17-year-old son of lawyer Konstantin Skrypnik went for a walk and disappeared, after that his parents received SMS messages with threats.

Two days later, as a result of tremendous work, on June 7, investigators found the kidnapped young man, criminal proceedings were instituted under the article “Kidnapping”.

As TASS was informed by the representative of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region, Olga Vradiy, investigators are talking to the found "guy".

According to the Baza telegram channel, the young man was found handcuffed in a field near Noginsk.

Attorney Konstantin Skrypnik associates the abduction of his son with his testimony as part of a criminal investigation into new members of the gang of Aslan Gagiev and their involvement in serious crimes. He told TASS about this after interrogation at the Main Investigative Office of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Moscow Region during the investigation of the abduction case.

The lawyer is a witness in a criminal case against members of the gang of Gagiev and himself. According to Konstantin Skrypnik, there is reliable evidence that those members of the Gagiev’s gang who escaped responsibility and are free, "somehow ...quickly receive information about what is happening as part of the investigation of the case, trying to commit some preemptive actions such as kidnapping try to put pressure on witnesses".

According to the lawyer, he counts on the inclusion of his family by law enforcement agencies in the program for the protection of witnesses in connection with a real threat to their life. “To threaten - it was one thing, but now it’s already an action, so I hope that they will provide us with state protection”, the father of the kidnapped said.

On March 6, 2019, the Military Court closed-door proceedings on the merits of the criminal case against 12 members of the Gagiev’s gang. By decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, the defendants were brought to Moscow from North Ossetia in connection with a real threat to the safety of the participants in the trial.

According to the investigation, the criminal organization, created and headed by Aslan Gagiev, began its activity no later than 2004 and totaled more than 50 participants. In November 2008, the mayor of the city Vitaly Karaev was killed by a gang in Vladikavkaz; in March 2008, the head of the Organized Crime Control Department of the Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mark Metsayev, was murdered. In December 2008, Deputy Prime Minister of North Ossetia Kazbek Pagiev and his driver Vladimir Gasiev were killed. According to investigators, in Moscow, the Moscow region and North Ossetia, gangsters killed about 60 people, including law enforcement officers, state and city officials, and entrepreneurs.
