During the coronavirus pandemic and the economic crisis caused by it, the proportion of citizens whose average monthly income is below 15 thousand rubles increased from 38.1% to 44.6%. The share of those whose income does not exceed five thousand rubles has also increased.

Such figures follow from the results of a survey by IC Rosgosstrakh Life and the Perspektiva Research and Technology Center, which RBC cites.

In June, the share of those earning more than 15 thousand rubles a month fell from 61.8% in February to 55.3% in June. The percentage of those who receive more than 25 thousand rubles has also decreased - from 36.2% to 27.1%. From 25 to 35 thousand rubles a month, about 13% of the survey participants receive.

The fact that their income does not exceed 15 thousand rubles per month, said 36.5% of respondents. 8.1% of respondents live on income of less than five thousand rubles.

At the same time, the share of those who receive more than 100 thousand rubles a month increased from 1.8% to 2.1% .

Half of the respondents admitted that the pandemic did not affect the level of their income and the income of their family members. And 19.7% said that their income "significantly decreased" during the introduction of restrictions. One out of every ten has lost their earnings.
