As follows from the results of a survey by the Public Opinion Foundation, which are cited by Interfax, 19% of respondents believe that there is no need to let migrants cross the border.

72% of residents of the Russian Federation are informed about the situation on the border of Poland and Belarus to one degree or another, 36% are well aware of what is happening. Also, 36% know about it in general terms.

20% of the survey participants do not see the best option for solving the problem with migrants who want to get to the EU from Belarus.

8% of citizens believe that as a result, Poland will still allow refugees to cross the border. 13% of respondents indicated that migrants are more likely to return home. 12% expect some kind of compromise solution to the problem.

According to a recent poll by VTsIOM, a third of Russians believe that the EU is more likely to blame for the migration crisis on the Belarusian-Polish border than the Belarusian authorities.
