In the Khabarovsk Territory, in Kamchatka, Kolyma and the Jewish Autonomous District, schools again received reports of explosive devices planted in institutions.

Khabarovsk schools receive such messages for the fourth time since the beginning of the year. The educational process had to be interrupted in all 70 institutions. Emails were sent out at 6:39 local time, and by 9:00 a.m., classes were resumed in eight schools. Previously, anonymous threatening messages were received on January 18 and 26, and on February 2. Letters were sent to the post office of the city administration. All threats were false.

In Magadan, 8.1 thousand children from two dozen schools had to be evacuated. High school students were allowed to go home, while elementary school students were taken to neighboring kindergartens, from where they were taken by their parents. Recall that on January 20, 29 educational and cultural institutions of Magadan, as well as the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Magadan Region, received messages about the "mining" of educational institutions of the regional center.

In Birobidzhan, schoolchildren also had to be evacuated and sent home. Lessons have also been canceled in all institutions. As the first deputy head of the Birobidzhan mayor's office, Konstantin Ananiev, pointed out, the educational process will not resume until the buildings are inspected and school leaders receive the necessary documents. Since the beginning of 2022, Birobidzhan schools have been evacuated due to the threat of mining for the second time.

In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, letters about mining came to 42 schools. At the same time, 12 institutions are closed for quarantine. Pupils were expelled from working schools - younger students were taken home by their parents.

Recall that on January 21 in Krasnoyarsk it was possible to detain two teenagers who sent out false reports about mining. Specialists from the Center for Combating Extremism are working with the detainees. They will have to find out if these children are behind the rest of the wave of "joking" school bombings across the country.

Earlier it was reported that schools in both Krasnoyarsk and Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Birobidzhan, Magadan, Rostov-on-Don, Sakhalin Korsakov and a number of other cities received reports of bombs. Messages of similar content were received by local universities. In Moscow on January 11, there were reports of “mining” of 600 objects.
