In Moscow, the participants and invalids of the Great Patriotic War will receive tablets with the recordings of the broadcast of the Victory Parade, films about the war and songs of the war years.

“On the eve of the Victory Day, people with disabilities and war veterans will receive a special gift - a tablet with voice control, which records your favorite films and songs about the war and the broadcast of the Victory Parade,” the website of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin says .

According to the mayor, veterans will be able to participate in video conferences with fellow soldiers if they wish.

- Perhaps the saddest thing for veterans is the inability to attend a traditional meeting of fellow soldiers. As far as possible, video conferences via Skype, ZOOM and WhatsApp will be organized for all interested veterans, ”the mayor explained.

Also in food stores, pharmacies, gas stations, volunteers will distribute St. George's tapes. Congratulations on Victory Day will sound in the subway.

At 19:00 the air of the main television channels and radio stations will be interrupted by a minute of silence. And the action "Immortal Regiment" will be held online . A festive salute will also take place, but it will be possible to see it only in the broadcast.

- The Ministry of Defense will hold a fireworks display. But, unfortunately, this year it will be held only in order to broadcast it on television. Observation decks will be closed. There is too much risk of infection during a crowd of people, ”Sobyanin explained.

Earlier it was reported that about 52 thousand veterans of the Second World War in honor of the Victory Day will receive mobile phones with a free connection and an SOS button.

And the city authorities have already given a gift to veterans of Magnitogorsk - expired canned goods and tea.
