Ministry of Health: collective immunity to COVID-19 will be formed in September

The minister did not disclose other details of the ongoing vaccination.

On May 6, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced that 9.4 million citizens had completed vaccination.

Earlier in April 2021, it was reported that Chukotka, Moscow, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Sakhalin Region are leading in terms of the number of residents fully vaccinated against coronavirus. Dagestan was the main outsider in terms of vaccination.

Mass vaccination began in January 2021.

Citizens are predominantly vaccinated with Sputnik V, at the beginning of April, EpiVacCorona began to arrive in the regions, and the KoviVac vaccine is also being used for vaccination.
