There will be no direct line with Putin in 2020

This was announced by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.

This year, due to the prevailing circumstances, Putin "has been pursuing a direct line during the past few months", - Peskov said.

"So, of course, to draw a direct line this year in its traditional format would be superfluous", - TASS leads the words of Peskov.

He noted that this time, "elements of a direct line that will allow the president to receive feedback from citizens from different regions will be added to Putin's annual press conference in December".

Let us remind you that last year there was a loss of popularity of the direct line with the president. On June 20, 2019, 5.3 million Russians watched the Direct Line, last year - 5.78 million people. The rating of the past program was 7.6%, audience share - 51.5%

According to the same poll by Mediacqope, 10% of the country's residents were not interested in Direct Line. Another 1% of the respondents indicated that they had not decided on their choice, 13% did not answer this question at all.
