The level of herd immunity to coronavirus in the country dropped to 27.9%

Over the past week, the level of herd immunity in the country to coronavirus has decreased by more than 3% - from 31.1 to 27.9%, the operational headquarters reports.
By June 10, more than 92.2 million people had been vaccinated with the first component of the vaccine, and more than 87.7 million Russians had been fully vaccinated.
Since the beginning of the lifting of coronavirus restrictions and the decrease in the number of cases, the level of herd immunity began to decline. In February it reached 64%.
Over the past day, 3.6 thousand cases have been detected in the country. Including 1.4 thousand of them ended up in hospitals. Most cases are in Moscow, the Moscow region and St. Petersburg.
