HSE: the cost of first-year studies in universities increased by 10% in a year

This is evidenced by the results of a study by the National Research University Higher School of Economics.

"The "average check" that Russian families paid for the first course has grown significantly: by 10% in one year, by 17% since 2019. This is due to the reorientation of effective demand for universities and programs of higher quality and, accordingly, more expensive", - said the scientific director of the institute Yaroslav Kuzminov.

It's worth reminding that in the fall of last year, universities were allowed not to reduce the price of online student tuition. At the same time, we note that the majority of parents of students opposed distance education.
